Reclaim myself

My approach is focused on…

  • We will go deeper than personality typing by integrating frameworks like attachment theory and nervous-system awareness to help you understand the deeper why behind all your patterns.

  • You and your journey are unique. I provide fully customized guidance. I don’t use scripts, templates, and absolutely no one-size-fits-all advice.

  • We focus on how your Enneagram motivations actively show up and impact your real-life relationships with your partner, family, and colleagues, not just theoretical patterns.

  • I view your current behaviors as intelligent, adaptive strategies you developed to keep yourself safe, rather than judging them as flaws that need to be fixed.

What I don’t do

  • Rely on quzzes alone

  • Use surface-level type descriptions or memes

  • Push behavior change without understanding the emotional drivers

  • Treat the Enneagram as a productivity or personality hack

Enneagram FAQs

  • No. This is consultative, insight-oriented work, not psychotherapy.

While I am a licensed therapist, this experience is designed to help you understand your patterns, motivations, and emotional structure, not to treat mental health diagnoses or process trauma. It’s time-limited, focused, and structured.

Clients often choose this work because they want clarity and direction without committing to ongoing therapy.

  • Most cases, yes, absolutely! Especially if you’ve read the books but still feel stuck in the same patterns.

Most people know what their type is. Fewer understand how it shows up under stress, in close relationships, or in moments of self-doubt.

This work focuses on integration, not information. If knowing your type hasn’t changed how you relate to yourself or others, this experience often brings a deeper “aha.”

  • Self-awareness alone doesn’t change patterns, context and application do.

The goal of this work isn’t insight for insight’s sake. It’s helping you understand why your patterns exist, what they protect you from, and how to relate to yourself differently in real life.

Clients often notice changes in how they communicate, make decisions, and set boundaries, not because they’re trying harder, but because things finally make sense.

  • No. The Enneagram is not used here as a label or box. It’s used as a map of protective strategies.

Your type describes how you learned to stay safe, connected, or in control, not who you are at your core. The goal is not to identify with your type, but to loosen its grip so you have more choice.

This work is about freedom, not fixation.

  • Not at all. Many clients are functioning well on the outside but feel internally disconnected, overextended, or unclear. Others come during transitions, identity shifts, or moments of re-evaluation. This work is less about fixing something that’s broken and more about refining how you relate to yourself as you grow.

  • That’s completely okay.

You don’t need a perfectly articulated goal to apply, curiosity and openness are enough. The structure of the intake and intensive is designed to help clarity emerge, even if you can’t name it yet.

Many clients apply because something feels “off” or repetitive, even if they can’t explain why.

  • The experience is deep, but it’s also contained and intentional.

Rather than stretching insight out over months, this work creates a focused space to explore patterns with clarity and support. Many clients prefer this approach because it’s efficient, grounded, and respectful of their time and energy.

  • The Enneagram is much more than a personality tool! The Enneagram tells you things about yourself, but is primarily a tool for growth. It’s not what you do, but why you do it! It helps you see your personality (or ego) that you wear as a mask and shows you how to grow beyond the traits of your personality. You are more than your type!

  • No, You are only one type (number) and that number does not change throughout your life. Online tests are not always accurate, which is why I recommend a live typing interview to get you started on your journey. I will help you determine your top possible types when we meet!

  • No way! The Enneagram provides a map for you to do both psychological and spiritual work, but it is not tied to any specific deity or religion.

  • Online tests are not always accurate. The *best* way to identify your type is to do a live typing session and then go over your results/explore more about the Enneagram afterwards. I’d love to help you get started on your Enneagram journey!

  • I really enjoyed this intensive with Emily!

From the very beginning, she was kind, welcoming, and made me feel heard. I really appreciated her intentional questions and suggestions for me. I felt seen and encouraged. I really appreciated the detailed follow-up emails that summarized what we talked about and gave specific actions steps. I refer to these emails often and know it's specially tailored to me and my ways of healing and growing.
