I work with women
who outgrew
the framework
that built them.
Licensed therapist. Certified Enneagram practitioner. Mother of three girls in the middle of my own matrescence— bringing clinical expertise, lived experience, and honest self work into every space I lead.
I’m a licensed therapist
who left the clinical model
on purpose.
Therapy is where I started. Fourteen years in private practice. An LMFT, perinatal mental health certified, trained at East Carolina University. The work I do now is rooted in that lineage — but it isn’t therapy.
After enough years of watching brilliant, self-aware women cycle through insight without actually moving anything, I went deeper into the work that produces identity-level change: the Enneagram as Beatrice Chestnut and Uranio Paes teach it — the lineage that treats the system as a map of survival adaptations, not personality types.
That’s the work I do now. Therapy gave me the floor. Chestnut Paes gave me the architecture. Motherhood gave me the urgency.
Mother of three daughters (including identical twins).
Pittsburgh-based.
Working nationally.
I am a mother of three daughters in the middle of my own matrescence — the developmental passage of becoming a mother, which is its own identity-level work whether anyone names it for you or not.
I see clients over video from across the country, with select in-person availability in Pittsburgh. The Intensive is the only client work I take on now; everything else — the writing, the teaching, the podcast appearances — exists to bring more women into the room before they need a year of therapy to do the same work.
I built the practice I needed in my own thirties. I see no separation between the two.
Where the work
was learned.
I don’t collect certifications as decoration. Each of these shaped a specific layer of how I work — the clinical floor, the developmental lens, the system-level architecture, the lived voice.

High-functioning women in the middle of their own matrescence
One day. Accelerated growth.
The work I do isn’t for everyone.
It’s for women who can name the pattern and still cannot interrupt it.

Hi, I’m Emily Zeller.
A Certified Enneagram Consultant for high-functioning women.
I'm an Enneagram consultant, LMFT, wife, and mom of three daughters living in Pittsburgh. And for years, I was the poster child for quiet exhaustion.
On the outside, I was capable and deeply invested in everyone I loved. On the inside? I was overextending myself, constantly using helping as a way to hold relationships together. I was tying my worth to closeness, confusing intensity with intimacy, and abandoning myself in the name of connection.
Discovering my Enneagram type (I am a one-to-one (sexual) Enneagram Two) changed everything. I finally saw my over-giving and my intensity not as flaws, but as intelligent strategies I’d developed to feel safe.
Now, I use the Enneagram integrated with attachment theory and nervous system insights to help high-functioning women like you. I am here to walk alongside you as you find the courage to stop abandoning yourself, reclaim your boundaries, and build a powerful sense of self-trust.
I can't wait to meet the wholehearted version of you.

My approach is focused on…
-
We will go deeper than personality typing by integrating frameworks like attachment theory and nervous-system awareness to help you understand the deeper why behind all your patterns.
-
You and your journey are unique. I provide fully customized guidance. I don’t use scripts, templates, and absolutely no one-size-fits-all advice.
-
We focus on how your Enneagram motivations actively show up and impact your real-life relationships with your partner, family, and colleagues, not just theoretical patterns.
-
I view your current behaviors as intelligent, adaptive strategies you developed to keep yourself safe, rather than judging them as flaws that need to be fixed.
